you should go at least once. It is just one of those things all quilters should do. Very inspiring. And then you wont be saying, "I wish I had gone when I could"

I can think of only one reason for you not to go. That being how ill has the flu bug left you. If you are quite weak, or your health has been compromised otherwise from the flu, I wouldn't go. On the other hand if you feel strong enough, I wouldn't let anything stand in the way........after all, it IS Paducah! :)

Get in the car and come to Paducah. You will have the time of your life. This is a beautiful time of year in western KY. that is a bonus.
Hancocks fabric is another great reason to visit Paducah. You can wander around in there for at least a half day.
So much to see and do for quilters. Go for it. come to Pad.

I'm fortunate that I only live a couple of hours from Paducah. I went a couple of weeks ago. Here is the reason you need to go: You MUST go to the quilt museum!! You will be sooooo awed and inspired by the beauty there. If you need to stay out of the shops, fine, but you MUST see the museum!!!

Go girl! Even if you do nothing but see the quilts in the museum and visit their book store, you will have made the trip worthwhile for you. There is so much to see and do in Paducah, go sew, look, relax and recharge.

I too vote to go. Avoid junk food! Drink liquids. Get a book on tape for the ride. Pace youself. Make sure credit cards have room for shopping. I'd bring a small cooler to put snacks in for the trip and ice tea to drink. Go and have fun.
