Maybe the recipient of the quilt passed on and the survivors did not know what to do with the quilt so donated it to Goodwill because they knew it would get another home.

I long arm for QOV; I have seen many beautiful quilts through that organization...but NEVER have I seen one that ended up at Goodwill. I would hope that maybe the families would consider donating the quilts to the VA or a charitable organization....a lot of work goes into them and I hate to see them end up there when they could be put to good use. Maybe it's time to add something about where to donate them if not wanted int he info section for QOV...

I have only seen a few quilts at Goodwill and only baby quilts...at consignment stores I have seen some, many seems to be from the owner of the booths. I do see the prices are very low...but also very few out there. I often wonder since so many quilts get donated that so few really get sold at the prices that are worth it. glad I don't try and make a living from quilting and do it for fun. I am sure the person who purchases the quilt will love it.
