We usually vacation in the UP and I was going to ask you to tell me about quilt shops up there, but I think I'm just going to go to your house!

Quilt shops are few and far between up here in the great white north! I'd love for you to stop by, but there's not too many pieces of fabric that I'd part with! LOL There's a nice quilt shop outside of Curtis. It's small, but she has very good prices and some very pretty fabrics! There's also two quilt shops in the Soo, but I've only been to one, the Quilted Moose. She's also got pretty good prices. There's a shop in Escanaba, but I have to say "ouch" to her prices. And I've been across the bridge to a quilt shop in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, but their prices will send you into shock!! Many of the Canadian women from the guild in the Soo will gladly pay to cross the bridge to shop at the quilt shops on this side!

PS. what are you using for those FQ's?
Can I come over and help you fold all your fabrics and neatly organize them on your shelves? I am sure when I left you wouldn't miss that beautiful orange flowered fabric calling out to me when I look at your stash....and I think I see some 'leaves' fabric, and oh, I see some blue fabric I could use for a ...Oh, never mind. You would miss it all cuz we know every piece in our stashes, right? Besides, my cabinets are full and I need to use of some of it on projects soon so my DH can volunteer to take me out to 'look' for more. What a guy! He's not clueless, just wants me happy. Like when I leave him alone with the History Channel.
