    Oh, Nadine, consider carefully before you start getting rid of your stuff. Maybe you are in a temporary downturn, but don't abandon everything! Quit for a while and see how you feel in a few months.

    Nadine please don't do anything rash! Try knitting or crocheting for a while then if you still don't want to quilt then get rid of your stuff but if you do it right away you may regret it! Better safe than sorry.

    It happens. When it does I start sorting my fabric and looking through patterns and spend this down time cleaning my studio and getting stuff back in order. By the time I finsh I've found a project I must do!

    You have to set your own pace. I think anything artistic should be done when you're in the mood! If you're not enjoying it, put it down!

    Try teaching someone else to quilt. It helps to share what we have with someone else, and will keep you going. Many a beginner sewer would really appreciate a mentor to work with.
