The Last couple of days working on Pat Sloan’s Traffic Jam. The top is done. It will be donated to church to give to the graduating seniors in May. Can’t believe I am ahead of the game. So need to make a back and then will be ready to quilt. Tonight have to watch the Packers. Hoping to be a win. Go Pack Go!

Lots of great work. I've managed to put the top together. I've a picture but will have to check how to post with the new format.

Yes Heather, you are acquainted with the Lone Star instructor! Today I'm working on my Farmer's Wife 1930s edition blocks. I printed out 8 of them last night, we'll see how many I can finish. I really like doing them!

    Default Happy Sunny Sunday morning

Good chilly Sunday morning everyone. Still cold in these parts, no snow or ice, thou. So I am church bound this bright sunshiny day. I did complete all of the 12" blocks but may go back and change some of them. But they are ready to set together

    Thimblebug, love your project

Conchalea, I can relate to the moving emotion, it all can be stressful. So I sew to relieve myself

Christine-, question? How did you get your pix to transfer to that sizing???

Tish05, loving your Hunter Star, that pattern is sew on my bucket list

Cheshirepat, that log cabin with the key board border is gorgeous

Quiltingshorttimer, we are closer than you realize, do you come into Olathe? I live just a block south of the 'Quilter's Haven' shop. Glad yesterday was a nice enough day for your class. The wind has been a little problematic around here for travel for a few weeks

Rob, loving that micro quilt finish, is it a UFO project also???

    Happy sewing day everyone

I posted the link instead of using the paper clip attachment. To post a link, the picture needs to be hosted somewhere else, in this case I have the picture on my blog.

Thanks Cherryb! Yes, it is a long time UFO. Hoping to get the micro quilting in the middle part done by the end of this week and then to decide what to do with the borders. It's going to count as two UFOs off the pile over on the UFO thread because the borders are also from a long time UFO!

thanks Christine, I'm not at all technical and realise I have taken the photo on my iPhone and don't know how to transfer to my iPad.

Good Morning everyone! Lots of progress happening since I turned off the computer last night, Rob, nice quilting,
This morning the husband is at the VFW flipping pancakes for a fund raiser so I have been remaking some sub-units
that didn't quite measure up. I have determined I can't do Strata blocks well. Let me just cut all the little blocks, I will not try to strip piece for a while. Also cleaned up the drives after the winds blew the snow around and 2 loads of laundry. Not a bad morning. Going to have a quick lunch then back to sewing until church tonight. (We started a 5pm service which lets people sleep in on Sundays )

With luck I might be able to get the blocks into a few rows today.

My class went ahead without me...What is normally a 25 minute drive took me that to get halfway, due to the weather, so I turned around and went home. I'll work on the blocks (100 flying geese) on my own this week to get caught up.

I've got all the math done for my newest wallhanging and started the first section, but didn't buy enough fabric to do all the cutting.

It's still snowing like mad so I may go start those Flying geese!
