Quilting is done! Finally! Still needs binding, but that will be another day.

It still makes me cranky to reverse sew... but frog stitching (ripit! ripit!) I am doing on the Froggy Beach project.

Thanks, Iceblossom - you're so punny you made me smile. :-)

My ambitions are not too lofty this weekend - hope to finish quilting and binding the last (for now) I Spy quilt. We'll see how close I get to this goal. As I'm flitting in and out of my sewing space/dining room, I'll be thinking of everyone who is struggling and who also turns to sewing for escape and healing.

Nice to see everyone’s progress. About to head to my sewing/dining room to get my day started.

QuiltBaer and Watson: Good jobs and kudos to both of you. Finished loading and have started longarming scrap quilt (mostly white and I'm hoping the project grows on me as it gets more finished.

sewbizgirl--enjoy lurking and reading! I am easily distracted by a good book myself

    Irishrose2--hope your mojo returns.

Railroadersbrat--sounds like the organizing is coming along. Yes, I mostly use my 60mm cutter. It allows me to cut through more layers easily.

Karamarie--I hope your eye heals quickly.

Panchita--your mojo will return when the time is right. In the meantime, you can plan future projects

I cut all the pieces for a paper piecing pattern (Dazzle by Tamarinis). I'm not sure when I'll start sewing on it, but it's ready! Also did some more organizing and some housework today. Tomorrow hopefully will be behind the sewing machine for a little bit. Either machine applique or Dazzle.

Loving everyones projects! Hugs and prayers to those that are in need, these are trying times on so many levels for so many.

Apparently I have an inability to count correctly, so my day was spent making more tri-recs units, got them cut, pieced and squared up, managed to get 1/2 of a block completed and decided to call it a day. I hope that tomorrow I can at least get the last blocks together, and maybe, if the quilting gods are with me, the blocks all sewn together and borders cut.

I was able to attach bindings to 3 vet quilts and started hand stitching the first one. Still thinking about projects for next week. I know I will take my Dear Jane blocks and my Harriet's Journey blocks but I also like to take something that can be completed lol!

QuiltBaer - that is a beautiful quilt and I love that panto, congratulations!

I am getting a very late start today, I wasn't feeling too good earlier this morning, so all I did was glue some hexies. I laid down when that was done and just now woke up, I'm still a little achy and dehydrated but I'm feeling a little better than this morning. We have heavy rain due in later this evening and tonight, so I know that's part of what is affecting me now. Pretty sure I'm in the middle of a migraine with no headache, so taking it easy is top on the list of my things to do today.

Still have to clean off my desk, change out some cords, and get the batting into the WIPs bag to call the re-organization complete. I'll have to wait until the fiance wakes up to take care of the bag and batting, then hopefully, I can wrangle some cords. Depending on how I feel later, my nephew's borders may be pushed until Monday and the table quilt I wanted to do has been taken off the list.

Progress is progress, though, no matter how big or small.

I'm new to the board, but thought I would join you. My project for the weekend is to make a quilted arm cover/remote holder for my brother's new big man recliner. I just finished coming up with a plan (thank you Pinterest!) and now I know what measurements to take.

I too am a little late to the party. Made the mistake of starting to reorganize a kitchen cabinet and it opened up a whole can of worms. I knew I should've gone into the sewing room first!
I plan to work on a UFO table runner and make repairs to a notions case I made. Goals not are not too lofty.
