    If I notice that there's just a wee bit left, and I feel inclined, I'll sew some 2.5" squares together . It's an ongoing 16patch WIP. Otherwise, I trash it.

    I also use up my small amounts on bobbins for doing my piecing. Since most of those seams are shorter, running out of bobbin thread isn't a big deal so I find it ideal for using up small amounts left on bobbins.
