I use those $1.00 store tablecloths (not flannel back) to cover my floor and table when spray basting. They dry and fold right up to be used over and over.

Make up brushes for cleaning the machines.
I put all of my broken needles and sharps into empty diabetic blood strip containers before disposal.
Tackle boxes and tool boxes for notions.
Rolling suitcases to hold individual projects for classes.
Make up cases to hold my etuis and hussifs.

chop stick to hold down the fabric that is pressed so it doesn't come up during the going under the foot... hope that makes since..

I use a pair of pliers to squeeze thick seams flat for easier sewing. Hammer for putting on snaps or studs. I have a gallon pickle jar for buttons (3/4 full). An empty candle jar by my sewing maching for scissors, small rulers, pens pencils, etc.

I cut off the "spirals" off a plastic ring binder, they slip easily around a bobbin.

i use staple holder boxes (blue) to keep my binding supplies in (hair clips, thread heaven, bobbin thread, needles, thimble). It makes it easy to take them whereever I want to bind.

I use a bamboo skewer as a stylus.
Use knitting needles and crochet hooks for turning.
Use magazine rack for quilting books.

I GOT A SMALL FISHING TACKLE BOX AND USE IT FOR EXTRA PINS, NEEDLES, BOBBINS. ITS CLEAR SO CAN SEE THROUGH IT AND THEY COME IN ALL SIZES AND HAVE TONS OF COMPARTMENTS

I use a hanging shoe organizer to keep my rotary cutters, scissors, plastic bags, etc. in. I hang it on the back of the door and it keeps them out of the way when I'm not using them.
