I didn't go. I need to be on a diet from that place.

I too could not resist the sale and coupons for the weekend; I bought FQ's, bobbins, and adhesive spray.

I also went and got a 5" pair of Gingher Sissors along with a new rotar cutter. Everything was on sale plus I got the extra 25 off.

I bought several yards of flannel. It was on sale 50% off plus the additional 25%. I've found it's my favorite thing to use for batting for table runners and placemats.

I'm making a crayon tote for kids for Christmas. Purchased from Joann's today 2 spools of ribbon to tie tote after it is rolled up and a special glue called Fabri-Tac by Beacon Adhesives for gluing down Ric Rack. I read about the glue on the internet, searching on how to attach Ric Rack before sewing. Sure hope it works.

I bought ultra cuddle fleece that was 14.99 a yard, I bought a 1/2 yard, and got the other 35 inches at remant for 70percent off. I bought about a dozen pieces of Christmas fabric that was 50 percent off then the 25 percent extra. 4 yards of flannel for baby receiving blankets, backing for fleece blanket, and a few other remants, spent about 32.00 not bad. Then yesterday JoAnn.com had free shipping on anything, and I order Hello kitty flannel that they did not have in the store, but I didn't get the extra 25percent off, but I wanted it.

Oh I went yesterday!!! Bought 10 yards of warm and white, a bunch of small cuts of fabric, two cans of spray basting and a couple of larger cuts of fabric to do some charity quilts with. I ended up saving right at $50!!! Was surprised especially when the spray basting ran up 50% off with my coupon!

Went Saturday -- bought the curved Gingher scissors at 50% plus another %25off = about 62% so it was a wonderful buy!! Resisted the urge to buy fabric -- I already have WAY too much.

I went Saturday. Bought purple sparkly fabric for a border on my tulip quilt; two yards of coordinating flannel, since it was $2.99 a yard for a baby blanket; 1/8 yard pieces of fall leaves and pumpkin fabric for a table runner, I'm going to do some appliqueing on; 1/8 yard of several Christmas fabric at 50% off for a table runner project we are doing at our mini retreat next month; and Singer scissors set. Totaled $90.00, but used coupons and 25% off which brought it down to $58.00. I was happy.

My wife and I went to JoAnn's on Saturday after we had been to 3 other fabric stores...we had already bought 24 fat quarters of 30's reproductions and 3 yards of fabric I need for 2 Cathedral window pillows also 3 Christmas panels. We had spent about 85 dollars and didn't want to spend much more. We did get a yard of fabric that I needed last fall to complete a quilt for my son but they had been out until now...it was $13.00 a yard but 30% off (plus we had the 25% off total coupon). We also got 5 pairs of scissors....two pair for each of us and another for the quilting machine table. My wife also bought a nice supply of beads for jewelry making....everything we got was on sale and we used the 25% off coupon on the total sale....we spent $51 dollars....and saved over $120...I have spent very little on fabric this year so it was a nice day to hit all the shops...I have gotten great deals in the last month from Eleanor Burns site on books and rulers, and templates...she has had terrific sales.
