Being inspired by people tackling their UFO's, I plan on working on 2 of mine that I actually dated when I completed the tops - 2002!

I'm hoping to get a little sewing done before a visit to the in-laws. Wish me luck!

Yes, that's what we are working on too....then give the house a good clean. When that's done I'll continue working on my queen size random/scrap/tribute to Tutwiler quilt and attempt to start/finish a baby quilt before said baby grows up!

:D My LQS has a 25% off sale good for New Years Day only, can you guess where I will be at least part of the day, then I will be coming home to hopefully sew, or maybe just check out the new fabric I just bought and start sewing it on Monday

Oh yes! I just got an Accuquilt Go cutter so I'm going to make a rag quilt. I bought FOUR bolts of flannel fabric on sale at JoAnn Fabrics online so I can make 400 quilts (or so). ;)

We are under a blizzard warning and are expecting 8-12 inches of snow starting tomorrow morning w/windchill temps of minus 10-20 degrees by Friday. Perfect sewing weather, as long as we keep our electricity. Actually I do have an old Pfaff 130 that has a crank so I guess I can keep sewing!

    Happy New Year everyone!

I will be starting the new year by working on a mystery quilt. Sounds like it might be fun. http://www.quiltingismurder.com/default.aspx

I've got a road trip for most of the day, but after I get home, I should have my quilt ready to put on the frame for quilting.

I will be quilting! Hadn't been in the quilt room for about 4 weeks (was helping a friend do counted X-stitch ornaments for our bowling league and that took two weeks, besides the holidays). I sewed today and it felt sooooooo good. Sat and watched the snow fall, hubby shoveling the drive and be stacking up finished blocks! I had not been in the mood to sew for part of that time, but now that i am back to the machine, it felt like the rest of the day went better! Quilting is my therapy!

I will be working on a baby quilt that has to be done for the end of January (when the baby's due). I went to LQS the other day & got a panel for it. Not happy, but only panel they had & time is short. May cut off border & make piano key border with lots of bright colors. The rest is all brown. Dull...needs bright effects!
