The majority rules: Quilt it! Nice charitable gesture.

Well I couldn't stand it, I did take it apart! I think it would always bug me! Keep in mind I am not a perfectionist, but some say very particular

If there is a problem I can't see it. Can I have it? Is that the right answer? Please can I have the quilt?

Quilt it and enjoy the quilting. You've created a 'one off'. Well done.

Quilt it like it is. No one will know the difference unless you say something. Just say it was your design element.

If you sew the two sides together, to make a tube, all you have to do then is pull out one row in order to make the pattern into an even design. Up to you then as to which row you rip out as you can always make the lighter rows end up in the middle.
