2015/16 birthday swap...candy style 2.5"
#1751
We won't forget about Sheri, Rosemary or Janice! They have been faithful to send all year and now it's their turn!
Yes, I will certainly show off any quilts I make with my candy squares. I need to get my list back out and get started!

Re: your question: Some people do include a little "extra", most don't. It can get expensive to mail too much with all the people playing so it is totally up to you. The extras are not expected.

Barb, I will sit this one out. I have sew much other fabric that I want to work with. I have enjoyed the swaps and the cyber friendships very much. As I finish up some candy projects I will get some photos on board.

May I please join in on the new swap? I have been part of several other swaps here on QB, all timely and in good standing. I take commitments very seriously. If this is full or you feel I am too new, I would be happy to be an angel when and if needed. Happy New Year!

Hi everyone! Hope y'all are having a great New Year.
DH and I just got back from an extended road trip through the northwest GA mountains, down to Savannah/Tybee Island, then to Amelia Island (near Jacksonville, FL), then to the Okefenokee Swamp. Then we traveled across Florida, and rode the coast all the way over to Pensacola. Then we cut through AL, then up the west side of GA until we were home again. We camped some nights, and other nights we stayed in motels. It ended up being over 2,100 miles. We really enjoyed the beaches and the parks where we stopped.
I'm going to sit the next swap out, as I haven't yet used the candies I received from this and other candy swaps, plus I've got to work on items for my craft fairs. Last year was very successful sales-wise (woo hoo!), so my inventory has dwindled. That's a good thing, though!

Moonrise, that sounds like a great trip. Seeing the USA.... (in a Chevrolet..... anyone remember that commercial from way back when?) I would love to know what you sell at craft fairs. I've found it very hard to sell even nicely made things at craft fairs, so would love to know your success secrets! Do tell....
