Ok guys, I fell, got ride in the ambulance, and have been bed-ridden for 4 days. I am now able to type the arrival list. Bear with me to get my feedback thank yous out a tad later. Hubby bought me a handicapped walker and now I can scoot around, a little at a time. I had 2 quilts to enter in the Summer Fair, but I missed the entry deadline because I was laid up. Boo hoo.

Jane, are you broken, sprained or serious bumps and bruises? I understand the falling thing. Did it twice in 18 months. Got to learn how to use a walker and then a cane for a while. (broken pelvis) Then I broke both bones in my wrist and learned how to write with my left hand and I am a "righty". The skills we get to learn when we mature!!

So sad about the quilts for the fair. That must be so disappointing. Take care and take your time to heal so you can return to what you love to do the most. Prayers for you.

Oh, my Gosh, Hav! How awful. When did this happen? I hope you aren’t in much pain but I suppose that’s wishful thinking. Gentle hugs for you.

I was standing, still, not shifting weight, and both legs gave out at the same time. I went straight down on my butt and pulled every tendon, muscle in thighs, calfs, knees and ankles. I heard a crack as I went down so I thought I broke at least one bone. But, x-rays just say sprains. Dang, it hurt worse than breaks. The tough part, was it was both legs, so no way to walk or get up so I stayed in bed. I couldn't even move my black and blue toes or ankles in bed or even lift my leg in bed. I don't wish this on anyone. But, lots of ice, heating pads, pain meds, bed exercises, and a walker and I am now scooting around, carefully. I see others on the QB are suffering too....I guess on any given day, one of us is seriously hurting, due to the average age of quilters. LOL. Keeping all of you in my prayers and I wish you well! The birthday cards sure do cheer me up. Thanks, Ladies.

An extra shout-out to WMUteach for sending a replacement package for the one we thought was lost in the postal vortex. I appreciate it!
