Thank you everyone for the posted and private get well wishes. I am doing pretty well zooming around in this wheelchair. We have tile and vinyl floors and that's easier than carpet.

I am scared to count up how many little sweet birthday candies are in those quilts. The Jacob's Ladder might wipe me out......Na, can't happen. My birthday month is not all that far away.

I'd be interested in doing a Jacob's ladder sew-along too. That looks like a fun pattern. Love the scrappy look.

I also have a collection of triangle scraps - I was cutting them for 3.5" HST, but I know "over cut" a lot so I'll see what I can come up with for 4" HST.

Thanks. I sewed a few together and really like how they look but it's so many seams to match that I think I'll try some gray sashing.

I want to acknowledge that Gaijin's envelope was in the mailbox today. Might have come Friday. We don't get out to the mailbox every day. I'm enjoying the anticipation of opening them. I have to admit, I've peeked in a couple, but for the most part I'm waiting for my birthday!
