Second attempt at this post. It’s just been that kind of day.

Here are Mona G’s and Marcialee’s blocks. The purple in Mona’s is not as bright as it appears and it looks very well with the green. Marcialee, the purple and the yellow are perfect matches for your fabric. I think maybe the purple is too dark, not enough difference in value between the feathers and the purple but I believe it will still work for you. I hope you each like yours.

And thank you mona for my very pretty block. I love it.

Janice, love your contrasting colors! The purple just glows.

Macybaby -- Do you like EQ8? I just got it during their Feb sale. So far I like it but its going to take practice.

Mona - I have not done the Dresden pattern but am planning a Halloween Dresden Neighborhood (( so many projects )). Yours looks great.. the fans really shine in the corners. What is the name of the block that has a four patch in the middle?

Juliasb .... I know it's easy to say and harder to do but and take it easy.

Traveling Gram, Love your kaleidoscope flower. I have a whole book on kaleidoscopes but have not been brave enough or sure enough of my fabric to begin. Ahhh.. another project! my snow family is adorable. Love it. We have 2 kids; so, the family of four snow people is just right! Thank you, I love it!!!!

Barbie you arrows are so precise and colorful

Terri, my husband is my angle also. Thank God for matching us both up so well. REST and take it easy.

When I went to Jenny on the Road, she showed us how to turn a Pinwheel (4 half triangles) into many other blocks. Problem was she uses precuts of 5" or 10".... both of which turn out too small for our 12.5. Thus I practiced with some of my BOOM material.

Method, I cut 2 11" blocks. Put right sides together and sewed around the 4 edges (making a box). Then I cut diagonal making an X cut. Pressed open and sewed them together to make a pinwheel (approx 14" block) . Pressed. I then cut 2 equally spaced horizonal and vertical cuts ( basically like a tick-tack-toe board # ). This gave me 9 boxes. Now the fun part. You turn and rearrange the boxes to form new blocks. See my results : ) Finished block turns out to be around 13". Thus, I trimed down to 12.5.

The light blue/green and white is my block to go with my Boom. The others are Mona's (purple/green) and Traveling Grams (butterflies) . Ladies I hope you like them. They were fun to play with.

Bugaroo you may want to double check the last one with the butterflies, that looks like my butterfly fabric. I received a different butterfly from travelinggramma (unless she sent more than one fabric)

MonaG, thank you for my chubby star block! It's perfect to frame a big piece of my fabric. I love it!

Ladies, all the blocks are looking so good! You all have been busy this weekend. We have had my daughter and family here so the only "sewing" that got done was me cutting out some little dresses and jumpsuits at my daughter's direction. I'll have 4 or 5 new summer outfits for my granddaughter, to make.

I work at a gym, which is a super germ-collecting place. Everyone touches every piece of equipment. And I work with a lot of older people who are high risk if they get the corona virus. So tonight I made the hard decision not to go in to work this week, and probably the next. All my classes will be cancelled. My hubby is high risk with diabetes and COPD, so I can't chance bringing home any germs to him. I will have so much sewing time this week, by not going anywhere. I'll get back on the Boom blocks and probably start sewing the baby outfits, too.

It was so great to see my grandbaby. She's so big. They just got a walker for her, and she scoots around the house like she's running. Won't be long before she's walking on her own. She's starting to talk too... says "DaDa", "Uh oh", and waves and says "Bye Bye". I asked her to say her name, which is Ivy Wren, and she said something a bit like it, but was so satisfied with herself for doing it! LOL. She is such a lot of fun!

Bugaroo that pinwheel pattern that is cut into 9 pieces is called a disappearing 9 patch pinwheel. That is the same pattern I did on Suzisew's block. I have four more done but my camera didn't want to play nicely with my computer. As soon as I can get them to play nicely together I will post pics. Janice thanks for a lovely block. Love the fussy cutting. You ladies don't have to fussy cut my fabrics. Cut them up to suite your pattern choice. I'm just glad you ladies are making wonder and creative blocks.

Mona that block is called Anitas Arrowhead. Here's the link to the pattern: https://www.quiltingdaily.com/wp-con...-Arrowhead.pdf
To make it a 12.5" block I cut my two fabrics at 11". That will give me room to trim down.
