I actually spelled it wrong. Should have been "Amigurumi".

This is an otter, a donkey and two baby sharks. I'll try to post a pic of the dragon soon. Also made a cayman, but my GD already has it.

    SBG those are super cute.

Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon making a block for Terriamn, it was a new pattern for me but since I accomplished the block for Klaws I was feeling confident if I just went slow and did one step at a time it would work out. Well, I got it done but it is 1/4 to big and several points were murdered along the way

Luckily I still hade plenty of her material to make another block even though I did have to make some alterations to the pattern.

Terriamn I will send you both blocks, I hope you can fix my epic fail enough to use it.
I'm going back to my familiar blocks so I don't mess up anyone else's fabric.

Bstone, AnnT and Mona, thanks for sharing your lovely blocks. I don't see any murdered points. The star looks great! These are all so pretty.

I went out to my dr. appt. today, only to find out it was to be a telephone appt. They forgot to tell me.... Oh well, got some shopping in, too. I went by Tuesday Morning and bought out all of the type of yarn that I use in the round crocheted baby blankets. Yippee. Then, on to the grocery store. Last night hubby and I brainstormed and came up with a list for each of us, of things to procure. We were 'prepping'! Prepping is expensive! Can't let any of this stuff go to waste. I was excited to find bottles of actual zinc (50 mg) today! It's been sold out for months. That plus our tonic water (with quinine) is going to make us invincible!!!!! Ha, ha... maybe not, but it will help. I'm pooped from all the driving and shopping. You get out of shape for that pretty quickly when you've been spending your days at home.

Hope all of you are doing alright.

SBG- super cute, I love the little vest on the otter. Nice job on the prepping. the biggest problem, is that the more you get, the more you feel like you are Never done! (I've been doing the tonic water too....who knows, it's probably just placebo. lol)

Mona - that star looks ambitious, I'm impressed. looks great.

SewBizgirl, they're darling. I think they must take more patience than I have. Look forward to seeing the dragon. Thanks for sharing.

    Default Finished Blocks Received

Good morning, Boomers. Yesterday I went through all the packages I've received so far and all the block counts were accurate so woo hoo! Below is a list of everyone whose blocks I've received:

    Bugaroo
    Christyj80590
    Hav4boys
    Janice McC
    Juliasb
    LAF2019
    Macybaby
    Marcialee
    Marija
    Queenbarbiej
    Sewbizgirl
    Terriamn
    TravelingGramma

The due date for blocks is in June however if all blocks come in early, I'll be pleased to send them out early. However if you want to use the full time, that's AOK too.

Those of you who have not sent back your blocks yet, please, please, please make sure your name and that of the block owner are clearly visible on every packet. Many of the packages I've received so far had no maker's name on them at all or it was hidden inside the baggie. Please spend the extra few minutes before you pack up your baggies to make sure I can easily see your name and the block's owner. Thank you!

    Have a pleasant weekend.

Love seeing all the new blocks.

Mona love the star block and will definitely figure out a way to use the block. Weird coincidence since I was off on your block also and not happy with the result and also sending you a second block

Sewbiz you must have the patience of a saint. Can’t imagine making your little crocheted critters

The campground we have a permanent site in officially opened yesterday. Lots of extra rules for everyone’s protection that we totally agree with. Wonderful to see our old friends and chat while keeping our social distance.

    Take care everyone

This is the dragon, in progress. His head is only pinned in place, and he will get pink spikes down his spine and tail. He will also get little gray wings. These toys, with the exception of the baby sharks, are all from the book, Animal Friends from Pica Pau. I'm posting a picture of Millie with her otter, so you can get size scale. These are not little amigurumi, except for the sharks which I found online. Millie loves her otter. She's getting this dragon too. Ivy got the cayman and the donkey and a female gazelle in a dress. Donkey got a poncho after the picture was taken. I think that's enough animals for a while...

Great new blocks, everyone. Terri, glad your campground opened so you can see your camping friends.

Look how many of us are finished with blocks and have sent them in to Janice! It must be the quarantine....

The weather is gorgeous here today. Hoping you have some of the same...
