Brenda said it best, Bellfry! I seldom spend more than $10 and then just a few cents more. I have a "swap box"and I add stuff as I find it. I go all over the place and find great stuff at bargain prices...Estate sales, church sales, thrift shops,Goodwill, $ stores, Michaels, Joann's,Tuesday Morning, Marshalls and I do regift if it is something I have already. Lots of the swapers love tea and I put a few in a baggie and send that along. I know my packages have gotten a lot better as time has gone on. Personally, I love old magazines, old patterns, etc. and I have found a lot of those at garage sales for 50 cents. I read those books and pass them on. A local quilter moved from here to Arizona a few months ago and she gave me about 25 books...some are duplicates of ones I have and love...perfect for a SP! I was at a quilt show a few months ago and out of date magazines were 25 cents each....some for me & some for SP!

This one is just the fabric, I'm making something cute with this fabric. It was hard for me to cut this I love it so much.

Love those fabrics, you know if you decide that those arent the ones that should go to your sp then you could always send them here. Just a thought.

I ordered some fabric for her as this is a rural area and not many choices for fabric shopping. I really hope it gets here before the deadline! Otherwise I'll be sending a supplemental package.
Dont worry about the limit. Most of us has a huge stash of stuff that we pull from for the swaps which makes it look like more than 10 bucks. I have one of those stashes. I go out at tax season and buy the basics like fq's, needles, notepads, etc. then personalize the boxes with other stuff then so dont give it a thought. Most of us just like the anticipation and fun of getting something in the mail.

SP, I got one of your handmade items done today while at sewing group. I hope you are gonna like it. Due to a limited amount of extra cash this month your package is going to be mailed in a flatrate envelope instead of a medium box as my usual but I assure you that it is gonna be packed to the max with all kinds of goodies. Hoping to finish up the rest of your handmade items tomorrow and mail it out Friday.

Here's another clue for you, your zip totals 13 and you have furbabies. Heres a sneak peak of one of the handmade items that has been finished so far. Any of you that are knitters or crocheters this may be yours.
