Finished the quilt top with the bricks and stones last week - will try to post a picture when I get it assembled. It was fun and amazingly quick. The hardest part was to select brick placement randomly and not plan out placement.

Well, I finished the top of my Bricks quilt last night. I love it!!! I would definitely recommend that your black and white four patches, be the same black and white, as it tends to take away from the bricks if they have a design in them (as mine do!!! ) I want to make another one, though, and on that one, I'll use the same black/white throughout the quilt. This was so much fun and so quick to make!!! Thanks to everyone who contributed bricks. I love the variety of mine. I don't have a single repeat!!!

Awesome, Dorothy from Kansas! What size is the quilt? I think it's great and can't wait to do mine. Great job!

It's the lap size, took 112 bricks and 4 patches. I followed the directions that were originally given. I thought about making it bigger, but it required more bricks than I thought I could find, without repeating any colors! The finished size is: 48.5 X 79.5, but I tend to use a "scant" quarter inch seam allowance. Please be sure to post a picture when you finish yours!! Can't wait to see them all!

That's fabulous. Thank you for sharing. Maybe this weekend I'll have a chance to start mine. Not much sewing last weekend, as DD came home for mother's day. It was great to see her, definitely worth missing a few days sewing.

    You did a wonderful job!
