GracefulAnn, I think it's perfect! I especially like the olive green and the addition of the cream background. I think it's fine to have things that blend--fabrics don't have to match. The center pops nicely.
Thanks for the fun comments, everyone.
b.zang, Have you got the center block yet?

Thank you givio and kwiltkrazy. Now, to make sets that work and seams that match to put it all together. I'll post very soon so I can get it in the mail. Any word from Bzang about receiving my block?

GracefulAnn, We didn't hear from b.zang yet that she received the center block. Since mail is taking a long time to get to her, if at all possible, put the 24" quilt top in the mail to her early, if you can. She is going to do the best she can to stay on time. :-) Don't forget to give us all a look at it all together before you mail it off!

Givio. I'm shooting for mailing on this Saturday. I have to wait for my youngest to get home from college. She really wants to see it. I forgot to give her credit for helping me choose the pattern and some of the colors. Silly me! Of course, with the storm heading our way and with her in the direct path, I told her to hunker down and shelter in place. She's in school at UNC Wilmington.

I will put Lv2 sew's block (with my border) in the mail to you in the morning.
Would you like to have me post a completed pix so you can plan??

I wish we could attach a pix when we PM

I can have a turn-around time of two weeks without sacrificing quality. I'll be posting soon.

I love that you have added some new and exciting colors and shapes. That is why I didn't make any suggestions as to color or designs.

    Thank you -- Mim
