    I'm here, I'm here!!!
You really didn't think I deserted you, did you?
Things have just been super crazy here.
Had house guests, then appraiser came, then house guests again.
I've been trying to keep up with the thread, but with all the chatter going on, it's difficult at times.

Packages seem to be whirling away in the postal system. Hopefully all are delivered soon. Some people had some family issues to deal with, so packages went a few days late. No worries to those that this happened to, I won't ban you from next year. As long as you let me know that there is something going on, I can "bend" the rules a bit. Family comes first!

If you've received your package and have not told me, please let me know in PM.
If you have sent your package and have not told me, please let me know in PM.
I try to check daily and get back to everyone.

I'm hoping things calm down here a bit, so I can spend a bit more time reading.

Have we decided on an opening day yet? I'm thinking December 11 @ 6pm EST.
If that time is good with pretty much everyone, we will settle on that date.
I won't be here, I'll be enjoying my birthday in sunny coastal Spain.

I can't really remember where I got them, but I think it may have been
in the "dollar" bins at Joann's many many years ago.

At the time I bought all the sets I could find in the bins, and i do know
that I had used them as "gift fillers" in swaps on another website. I will
look around my kitchen and sewing room to see if I have anymore left.

    ***EDIT***
I did find some of these measuring spoons on Amazon, but they are NOT
at the dollar price I paid.

Would it be appropriate to mail her a fat quarter as a thank you? Or is that not permitted or allowed?

Just needed to know if I am adding anyone on to my Black Friday shopping list

I've seen those measuring spoons before, cute idea.

I cook the same way, some of this, some of that, seasoning "to taste"... As a result, my son has picked up the same style of cooking, and enjoys experimenting. He'll usually follow a recipe the first time he tries something, then he'll start playing with it.

I had to ask was "oleo" was, because that was in several recipes (grampa raised cattle, he was not a fan of "oleo" at all, so gramma would break the little color dot, mix it up, and rewrap it in old butter wrappers--not so sure it fooled him though). The other thing that catches me sometimes is a "can of x". No ounces listed, just "can". I'll call my mom if I'm not sure.

My favorite Christmas carols are 'Oh Come All Ye Faithful' and 'Away In A Manger'.
For Christmas songs I like Elvis Presley singing 'I'll Be Home for Christmas'. It's been my absolute favorite since I was in high school and my boyfriend was in the Navy. I like Elvis singing 'Blue Christmas' too. And I like 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey.
