Michelle, it's breathtakingly beautiful. I'm so glad I joined this, and I'll try to make my blocks worthy of standing next to yours. Thanks for setting the bar high.

The amazing thing is that I ordered this FQ bundle before this swap was announced. We are definitely on the same wave length, Deb. My purpose in ordering the fabrics was to make some placemats and a table runner to go with this dinnerware that I sometimes use for winter holidays.

These stars will be perfect for that purpose. So, thanks again, Deb!

Oh my gosh, I so want to join this swap, but I have committed to a few others right now.

I also had a job interview and have been called back for a second interview on Wednesday.

If I don't get the job I'll definately join this one, so I'll wait and see.

Deb has twisted my arm into joining. I'm planning on Linda's Star :)

Might I ask.... Does each block have to be competley identical or may I be slightly scrappy? By that I mean if i do a blue for the very center may I use different blues in the centers or does it have to be the exact same fabric?

Just want to check on the flexibility before I start. Either way is fine by me :)

I would say because these blocks are already 'busy' that the blocks need to be identical. I can see that I am going to be bonkers with the different (yet very similar) patterns.
