I think there is a Dairy Queen in Silverdale, so we could surely have Blizzards.

I would love to go along one of these times if you need some company. Just found all of you tonight.
Did you get all of your wine delivered after the beach trip or did you go back to casino?? I have not been back since that all night-er about did me in. I started having some really bad side effects on a new med they gave me so if I did not make since or seemed out of it I was. Was able to get off of the med not long after I got home thank God the side effects were about to kill me. Feeling much better now.

I just waned to tell all of you what a wonderful time I had at the beach and what wonderful talented bunch of Lady's I had the privileged to meet. You were all so special in so many different ways it turned out to be a nice blend of company. But next time we need to go much liter on the food. It was to be a quilt retreat not a weekend feast,or pig out. I did walk on the beach before coming home and those little rocks kept calling me further and further down the beach until it was a hike to get back Trish sat on a stump and just wondered if I would ever turn around. I'll tell you the next week I did not know there were so many muscles in my toes they were killing me. Can't wait until the next one.

For some reason sometimes cats give me itchy eyes and sinus issues so I might have to hang out in Jen's area for sleeping. Will that be ok?

Congrats Cindy on your posts - I wonder when I will get there? and Stitchy I'm hoping for the best for you-hopefully its closer to home for you? I can't believe how far your commute is now! But you are so cute you make it sound like its nothing!

Ok everyone Sisters is coming up-who will be going? 2Doods are you still with me? I'm confirming my reservations next week to make sure I have the room since resv were made last year! They better have me in the system!

Charisma it will be so much fun if you could join us! We are such a unique group!

This will be like a big slumber party-but all weekend. We wouldn't have to bring our black bras-do we?
Okay, the area where the cats aren't normally allowed is upstairs in the quilting room which has my longarm, a couch and loveseat and tv. But off of that room is a huge bedroom with a king size bed, fireplace, tv and a full bath (and also an outside door going onto a large covered balcony). Plus there is another room off of the LA room with a full size bed and a rocking horse in it in case anyone wants to go for a ride. Or I can probably have a friend cat sit for a few days before and during our retreat. That way I could really give the house a great dusting and vaccuuming and no one would be bothered by cat fur. My 2 boxers are pretty much outside dogs except at night I bring them in and they sleep in their crates. DH doesn't like for the dogs to be free in the house because of the hardwood floors. Besides all of the beds I mentioned earlier I have 3 full size couches that are quite comfy for sleeping on if anyone is interested in doing that instead of an airmattress. I have 2 large dining room tables (in separate rooms) plus 3 folding conference type tables so we will have plenty of sewing/cutting space.

I can't think of anything else except to say that if people wanted to come as early as Wednesday, November 2nd and stay until Sunday, November 6th that would be doable for me. Or any part of those days. If anyone wanted to use the LA it would give you more time that way too. And if anyone was really interested in maybe trying their hand at carving candles I could always fire up the wax melter. But I would need to know that at least the day before because the first time it takes most of the day to melt the wax in the melters.

Lots to think about and do. :P :P :P

If anyone else has any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Sherryl

I'm sharing some wonderful news!!! One of my DIL's just announced that they're pregnant! They've been trying for 3 years and just got the news this morning! I want to tell the rest of the family but we have a policy to let them do this, so I'm telling you!! She's so excited, she's nearly bursting through the ceiling! Needless to say, I'm excited as well! Here goes making another baby quilt! :)

I think November 3,4 and 5 will work for me. It's between our anniversary and my birthday! I really want to go! My granddaughter lives in Bremerton, so I would definitely combine a trip to go see her with the retreat!

I can take at least 3 people from Oregon with me, if you want to carpool! (The smell is gone from the car (from my cat getting stuck in there for 2 days). We had to remove the spare tire and wash out the trunk area.) Anyway, I'm in!

I have it, Patty! If you got an email from me recently, it has everyone's email address included in it. You should be able to just hit "reply all" to email everyone who was at the retreat.
