HOpe you get better soon and try to remember that all that time off is giving you time to think about the "should" stuff. Usually you are a busy full time working person who happens to fit in crafting as well which is amazing. Don't be too hard on yourself. Remember to simply start somewhere. 15 mins a day sorting out one project at a time may help you feel like you are achieving something and you may just get more done than you think. When you show someone one of your craft projects they will have no idea of what your sewing room looks like only what you produce.

Well, I think you're being too hard on yourself, especially since you just had surgery - first you need to get well. But I have to be honest here, it looks better than mine, but my room has to do many things, first it's my bedroom, then sewing room, then crafts room, then room for TJ the cat and her "box", etc., etc. I don't know who designed this apt., but my closet door swings out into the room and not against the wall, so I have difficulty getting into my closet. I wish I were better organized, but thankfully I'm a much better quilter than I am an organized person. I used to be able to just close the door, but I can't do that any more. TJ loves the fact that she can now sleep with me, as DH and I have separate bedrooms (after 41 years), but it was the only solution to being together 24/7 and having some space to ourselves. So, when life gives me scraps - I make quilts.

Wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a Creative Room. I feel really good now about my sewing room, I wish mine was as good as CAJAMK's and roda's.

I wish I lived close..I'd come help you. But honestly it doesn't look that bad. And a cluttered gently used room means your creating. =)

I have no excuse I am just lazy when it comes to picking up after myself thank goodness my husband does most of the housework.

Personally, I don't think that it looks that bed!
The clutter will always be there for you to tend to when you are healed. Don't sweat it now...
Just relax and heal.
