Beautiful job. I am signed up for the quilt along but have not actually started. Leah Day is very talented and I love all of her encouragement and easy to follow tutorials. Thanks for starting this thread.

You did a great job. I started off with Leah's quilt along but fell behind almost immediately. Still, I hope to catch up one of these days. I've learned a lot from her.

I am, but haven't finished it yet. need to do the layering, then sew the lines. But first must finish one more of 3 projects before vacation. I can't wait to start. I really need more practice with my machine quilting. So that is why I want to do this. Besides it's beautiful.

here is mine in progress. Still working on filling in the sides. My material has white vines in it and it is hard to see where I have already quilted.

How do you get the design to puff up like that?

Yours is great! love your color choice. I think you'll agree, it's alot of micro stippling. Whew! But the practice really helps. I'm trying to post mine on Leah's web page but can't figure it out.

I tried to post on her website and couldn't figure it out either.

You get it to puff up my doing microstippling in certain areas.

It is alot of work, but I have improved my fmq so much by doing this project.

The quilt on my avatar has been waiting to be finished on the borders with fmq. I found the perfect stencil and am ready to tackle it now.

I think Leah is amazing how much she knows for such a young lady.
