oh this is gorgeous, and I too love lilacs. I have 8 bushes in but they just do not grow very well here at 1,200 feet. They seem to always get frosted. Two years i covered them with sheets every night. Now they have some sort of liac disease that i have been trying to get rid of for 3 years.

I give up on the plants maybe I will have to grow a quilt.

Lilacs are my favourite flower and purple is my favourite colour. It looks so fresh and Spring like that I can smell the perfume of the lilacs. Beautiful quilt and great piecing. Love, Love, Love it. Carol
