[quote=bbeyes]This looks so hard to make. Are all the pieces small?
Are they all the same size?[/q]

If you go back to the first page of this thread, you will see (if I remember correctly) that the color ways were stitched with 1/2 WOF strips, then ironed, and then the width is cut from the strip sets to create the way that the color moves up and down and around in this excellent bargello.
Can you imagine? At one time, bargellos were made exactly as you were thinking, one piece at a time ... by hand?
Although ... I am wondering ... did they do quilt bargellos before the rotary cutter hit the public counter? <wave>

I've always been complimented on my color choices and many have asked me to go with them to shop for fabric. Kuddos to you and your progress. Looking forward to the next installment. ~~Kim~~
HI Kim! Thanks for writing! I had never seen a Bargello done quite like this either....actually though, I had never seen a Bargello done in any way though, (except for my little 12" block). I don't know if you read this whole post, but this was my first one. Glad you like it. I finished the Experimental Bargello, and now I'm finishing up my second that I'm making off the pattern I made. Thanks again!

I always made my kids tell me what the stuff meant, and then I would tell them what the proper biological, real life word was. Abbreviations are a wonderful opportunity to teach and share and grow <g> <wave>
