    You own a wonderful treasure and it's a true heirloom!! It is simply beautiful!! Cherish it! I have a similar one that my mother made, but without the scalloped edges, which are perfect.

    Breathtaking! Oh, the painstaking, patient love she quilted into this masterpiece. I love the Dresden plate border and piping. Did she do the quilting by hand or machine?

    You are truely blessed to have such a nice gift from your grandmother.I sure wish I had one from mine.My maternal grandmother has been gone since 1977 I was only 14.

    Beautiful and beautiful work. Treasure it and occassionally take a nap under it. Your Grandmother would not have wanted you to put in in a box. If you have a sofa in your den or anywhere else in the house, drape it over the back... or maybe better yet, hang it in your quilting room!... This is gorgeous!!!
