I also don't particularly like the combination. The material is very pretty, but I wouldn't use it with only 2 colors. It also depends on how you are going to quilt it and what color the thread is going to be. Maybe it's the pattern that I don't like. They are so many factors in a quilt. But, you are doing a great job!

I like those two colors, but if it were my quilt I'd use a variety of colors as they did in the quilt featured at Moda Bake Shophttp://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/11/etchings-quilt.html. I am not good at describing things, but I would not put those 2 sections together with the exact same fabrics touching. There are a lot of quilts out there that work well with just 2 colors, but in my opinion, this is not one of them.

Do you question the colors or the design? It looks like a basic Greek key motif done in soft gold/brown colors with a cream solid.

What could possible be wrong with it. Love the fabrics. Love to see the whole quilt when you are done.

Are you using other colors as well. The pattern shows a contrast. I love the colors and would add a third and even a fourth color for the other set. Enjoy the process. Luann

This is so pretty and I would frame it in a darker color, then a border.

I quite like the pattern and I think your colours will create a very attractive neutral. You are probably used to using more colour and more than two. Keep going. I think you will like the finished product.
