Hi Linda - I assume you have the 60° triangle as recommended in the book(s) by Maxine Rosenthal? Have you checked out the photos showing how to place the triangle on the strip? I use her technique of making my right hand cut, then butting a square ruler up against the left side of the triangle, taking the triangle away then making the second cut. If you're using the 60° line on your ruler, I think you have to turn the ruler to make each cut, this too is explained, with photos in the book. :-D

You should be making 60 degree cuts in order to have an equalateral triangle.

:lol: i think it might be a 60 and not 30 . i just forgot. i cut my 6 fabrics had them pinned then cut 3 3/4. i just forgot how to lay the ruler to cut the triangles. hope you can helpppp.
