It is gorgeous, I remember your work last year. Hang in there, maybe you have to schedule yourself for quality time with your machine and fabrics. Once a week 30 minutes and then add on if you see it works. I know that we at time loose interested but it really never goes away. Having uncertainty about work is bad enough, just give yourself more of what you enjoy so you balance.
good luck, looking forward to see your progress.

When life is unsettled or I am feeling down it helps me to make something small that I can finish in a day or even a weekend. When it is finished I usually stand back and admire it and then give it away. hang in there, things will get better.

Your quilt is absolutely beautiful! I'd like to say something about your situation. Fear of the unknown is paralyzing. Even in the midst of this look at what you have accomplished. I have some suggestions from my very smart HR DDIL. These are not to tell you what to do, just hoping one or more may help you feel more in control: 1) if you haven't yet update your resume, if you haven't done this in a while there is a lot of help online 2) at home (not at work) start looking at other companies in your area you would be interested in working for, or if you would be open to relocating expand your search, if you have any contacts in any of these companies you are confident you can trust and with whom you would not be in competition, ask them if they are aware of any positions open or coming open you would be qualified for, 3) if you have thought of getting additional education or training start researching- you don't need to commit to anything just gather information, and do not confide in anyone at your work what you are doing. She also said to please take care of yourself and I second that. Start with your regular doctor and get a referral if needed. BUT as a mother of a son who is defeating a 7 year painkiller and antidepressant habit run from anyone who thinks drugs is the only answer. Hugs and prayers for you. Keep going on your quilt!

So, so beautiful. Your work has always been drool inspiring as far as I am concerned. Having been through numerous job situations like your current one, I can sympathize. Starting over is a drag. This too shall pass. In the meanwhile, when you are up for it - quilt your blues away. It's worked for me!

It is an extremely difficult situation to be in and I understand completely, the not knowing what is going to happen is to me a scary thing. Yes, it makes you feel really low and malaise takes over life. Try to hang in there and things will work themselves out somehow. I find great solace in looking through QB and various quilt blogs etc. My 'medicine' which I need to see me through my difficulties. I am trying to get back to quilting and taking it slowly at my pace but I am getting there. Take each day as it comes. Work on your gorgeous, beautiful and lovely quilt and all other positive adjectives not mentioned here, at your pace and it will bring you happiness once again. Slowly but I believe, surely.

Your quilt is extremely beautiful, in fact, all your work is fantastic and I look forward to seeing more of it in the months to come. Hang in there. When you are ready, if you feel you need to, see your doctor for help. Don't let things take over, you take them over first! Best wishes.
