What size are they? Are they left over from a quilt?

A valance would be wonderful. I thought of doing that myself with some blocks I have and didn't make the quilt.

Depends on how many windows you are trying to put them on.

If the windows are the same size, you could use three for each window. Put spacers between the blocks for them to fit. Put a strip across top and bottom so you don't lose any of the block to the rod.

Wonderful blocks!!! Great idea. I'd do exactly what Joeyoz suggested, and use the light color (looks like muslin) for all of the extras.

Usually when I make a valance I double the width of the window, but in this case you probably wouldn't do that - you want to showcase your blocks and not have it gathered so much.

I have used left-over blocks for valances in several rooms of our house. They look very nice and I have even pieced blocks especially for making valances and have been pleased with the results. Good Luck

I have pieced valances in my house also. I did then just like a quilt, quilted, then the binding and sewed tabs on the top for the rods. then hang just to the edge of my window trip.
I'll see if I can post a photo of the kitchen valances to show how I managed with different size windows.
