I like the quilt just as it is. VERY refined!

Decorating idea suggestion------Pick out the light tan or biege of the lighter block for your wall color, use a blue and brown for accent pieces in the room.

Now isn't that just like that 'decorator/cordinator' streak in me? with her foot in her mouth?

Please keep going. This quilt is going to be one of those quiet beauties---one that will stay eternally beautiful. Some quilts look great for the time in which they were made but a few years down the road look horribly dated.(have you seen some of the 60's monstrousities?) This one will never suffer from that.

Look at this block thru one of those plastic filters that 'multiply' it. I think you will like it better when you see it that way. I think quilts with subtle contrasts can be very beautiful, although I haven't done many of them because I'm all about bolder colors. Still, the tranquility that the subtleness brings out is very nice, especially if it's for a bedroom. Let us know what you decide.

I like the design the blocks make. Nothing more needed except a border to end it all.

I like it as well. I do not see anything wrong with it at all. I would go ahead and finish the quilt. You may be suprised at what you see in the end.

I like it! And as pointed out by others, I think the resulting design will be very nice. Subtle is good! :)

I'm with you and love those fabrics. True, there's not much contrast but with the growth of a full quilt you could be in for a nice, subtle pattern rather than something that jumps off the bed at you. If you want more, maybe some applique will give the eye more focus.
I love your fabrics. I think the more blocks you put together where the lighter one shows up more, it will really work for you. I'd go for it. You'll have a beaut. quilt in the end.

I am amazed at how many replies I have gotten to this! :)

I am going to keep going. Maybe 4 across and 5 or 6 down. We will see how it goes. I will keep updating!
