Loving all the finishes and colors! Here is my progress and the changes I made, I had zero desire to string piece or make tiny 9 patches. I am so happy I chose to wait for the reveal before starting, 2 more rows and the border to go.

Mkotch, way to go using your leftovers immediately, and that is a lovely lap quilt!

tallchick, I wish I had the discipline to wait until the reveal, to begin sewing. I think the momentum of working as the clues come out helps me, and that if I waited, I might never actually make the mystery quilt. I thought the nine-patch was a weak design element this year and considered ways to change it but went with it in the end. I think your changes look great!

Mkotch....your lap quilt is beautiful....I think the colorway you chose is stunning. Well done... I didn’t do the final HST border so I cut those down for another project. It feels good to use up every bit of leftovers.

Tallchick....super creative! The sashing looks amazing.. I’m with Joe’smom on following along with mystery versus waiting until reveal. I know me well enough to know I would likely not make it. Awesome job!

Love seeing all of the tops and quilts Completed. All so pretty.

I am finished with steps 1 & 2. Step 3 is cut and marked. A tomorrow project. Step 4 is cut and sewn. Just need to iron and sew to step #3. Step 5 is 1/2 way completed. Step 6 is cut and 1/2 marked. Step 7 not started. My goal to have quilt completed by end of month. I have 26 days.

happylab, it sounds like you are well on your way!

I am currently putting borders on my half size. I will have to wait for delivery of my second border fabric, as I didn't have enough on hand.

Wow, putting this all together was way more work than I expected (this is my first mystery quilt). I think I would have preferred the 3x4 layout rather than the 4x4, but once I committed, I felt compelled to follow through! I don’t really want it to be any bigger, so I will not be adding a second, larger border. It will go on my long arm as soon as I’m done with the little project on there at the moment.

Great job leheath8. Love the purples and especially the use of the stripped sashing in one area. It adds dimension.

Everyone did a great job. It's so cool so see all the completed GC quilts. I love the different color choices and variations of the quilt. For those still working on it, keep going. I'm cheering you on. Can't wait to see your completed GC.
