Thanks Teen!! It was a lot of fun to do. I didn't make all the hills though, I skipped one LOL.

You don't have that pattern? What are you up to these days? I'm not sewing lately, I now crochet blankets and lap throws. Though, at the moment I'm working on a quilt for one of the grands. He requested one with a Mario Kart theme.

HobbyCat -- love your Gypsy Wife - so dramatic and your colors "control" the quilt so nicely. really Nice!

Anael - I just received Small World as a Christmas Gift. I actually came on to revisit this thread before checking my stash for fabric. So I was so happy to see yours right away. You do so well with colors -- I want to make sure it looks fun without looking a hot mess. I've been looking at this quilt for about a year now so I have slowly been picking up some fabrics. I know I want to have animals from around the world in it so I pick up animal prints all the time, we'll see how it works!!

Thank you IrishMom!! Picking fabrics can be the hardest thing of the whole quilt!
    What a nice Christmas Gift!
Animals from around the world sounds great! You will make it work, one way or another. Please show your progress!

I don’t think I ever bought the pattern. I have several but I don’t think that is one of them.. GW will be my next Kingwell when I’m feeling motivated to start cuz, you know me, I finish what I start and I need to slot it in my schedule of quilts for this year. BTW...my Happy Birds quilt was gifted to my sister this year for her birthday. She went nuts over it and the sentimental value behind the making of it touched her heart...we cried thru our phone call.

Irishmom...so looking forward to seeing your MSW. The animals sounds like a fantastic idea. Should he fun to fussy cut and construct.. good luck..
