I am a hand quilter and am simply amazed that you do one stitch at a time- in my quilting life I've only known one other person to do it that way.
Your talent is absolutely fantastic! :D

OH-thanks for the great photos. You have inspired me to try a wholecloth. They are so beautiful.

    Always love seeing your work

You do lovely work and if a single stitch is what works for that is what you should do. I sometimes take single stitches but only when space makes me,or the fabric is thick near a seam. I'm not all that good doing it that way. Your way may take a long time but well worth the beauty you produce. Thanks for showing us.

Yes, I enter my quilts in shows. This year one of my quilts will be exhibited at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, UK (next weekend) and another one is entered in the World Quilt Show in Manchester, NH (August 18-21). I hope I can send quilts to more shows in the future, but the shipping overseas is so expensive (sigh....)
Normally I don't sell my work, but I have made several quilts in commission.

This is beautiful. I envy you. My hand sewing of anything leaves a lot to be desired.

Sooooo, it is OK to make one stitch at a time!!! I can do that!! I just never could "load my needle" with more than 2-3. This makes me feel much better. Yours is just beautiful.
