I have 2 featherweights. Pricilla is a 1955 model and Miss Laula G is a 1951 centinial model. She was my grandmothers machine and I learned to sew on her. I love both my machines and have pieced several quilts with them.

My 1947 Featherweight was my Christmas gift from Mom & Dad when I was 12 years old. 40 years later, she still purrrrrrrrrrs along.

I have a black one. The case is perfect with no musty smell. I would love to have a white one. I also have a Sew-Ez that looks exactly like the featherweight. I sews great but is a little noisier than the featherweight

I treated myself to a black 221 model (Dorothy Pearl) after I retired. She was given a great tune-up and purrs like a kitten. The sound is so soft and soothing that I am reminded of the machine Mom let me use to learn to sew when I was in grade school.

Her case is in pretty good shape, but I found just the right size canvas tote bag on sale from Lands End to protect her when traveling. Also, she fits nicely in the rolling tote bag I had purchased for my regular Viking.

This spring Dorothy Pearl and I attended the guild retreat and she was admired from close and afar :) I need to have her portrait taken so she can say hello to everyone on this QB! And sew it goes. It's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

William bought mine for my birthday about a year and a half ago...I learned to sew on Mama's Featherweight, my sister has that one...I keep trying to talk her out of it, but so far, no dice! ;)

"Honey" is a 1956 model, just like me...William searched until he found her.

I just got a 1950 221 from ebay last week. She's a beauty and I named her Tinkerbell. Light works and she purrs away but I have not sewn anything significant on her yet.

My daughter suprised me one day last September by bringing me home a beautiful white featherweight. I had sewn on one in the year of 1958 and liked everything about it,but never thought I would ever be able to afford one.She sews like a dream and makes me smile when I look at her.

I had three black ones and a white one. Gave one of the black ones to my daughter. Another daughter bought one at a garage sale for $5.00. It needed a new belt and wiring to the foot pedal. The white one didn't have a case and I bought a soft 24 can cooler with an expandable top, hard liner which just fits the machine and some nice net outside pockets for supplies. The black ones all had cases and lots of attachments and extra bobbins.
