It is so pretty and it looks like it's in good shape, too.

Rodney,

The machine and cabinet are both absolutely beautiful! What a treasure -- I'm so glad you got it!

Congrats.

The long one looks like one of the needle/hooks off my knitting machine. It can also be used for pulling loops on clothing or pulling elastic thru a casing.

That's a beautiful setup! I love the burl inlays on the drawers. It's certainly in the right place now. Congrats on your machine.

Oh My Goodness!! what a beautiful machine and cabinet. Your Aunt took excellent care of this "Little Lady". How lucky you are to now own this beauty. I am sure you will enjoy it, if you only just look at it. I have my mother's sewing machine that was a treadle and converted to electric when I was very young. I am sad to say I do not have the cabinet- wish I did. I remember sewing on her machine before she converted it and thought it was so cool. Enjoy your new treasure.

About those tools! The one with the little hook on the top is a throwback to the old knit polyester era in clothing. I was a young professional in a textile mill town during that time. Those knits could pick but this little tool was used to pull the pick through to the back so it wouldn't show. It could save an entire outfit!! You could NOT just cut off the pick. You try that you get a HOLE!!
