You can replace the latches - go to

    http://www.221parts.com/latch.htm

Anne your cover is very nice. Did you do the embroidery yourself?

Thank you, I did do my design on the embroidery machine. I got my featherweight design from Perfect Little Stitches, quilted my fabric before I cut out my cover, made up my pattern as I constructed it. It was a fun project. I have attached another picture so you can see a closer view of the design, I think it stitched out well. I apoligize if this is is a duplicate post. Anne

Don't apologize - I'm happy to see a close-up and get the details. It's so pretty. I love all the details and the colors. I'd love one like that!

This is gorgeous, have fun with her.

    Can I join? Pretty please?

I found a darling little 1951 221k featherweight for $69.99 at Value Village yesterday. She purrs, and I have yet to give her a little bath and name her :)

Those of you that have found FWs at such unbelievably low prices are so lucky!! I paid quite a bit for CeeCee but she is in such nice shape, I don't mind. I paid the same amount for my 1956 FW about 10 years ago!!
