I just read about this not too long ago but don't remember where. The centennial badges started being used in late 1950 until they were all used up, sometime in 1952.

It is! Check out the size of the take-up lever. That thing could handle rope.

Too bad the guy saw another one on EBAY FOR TWICE AS MUCH!
His shout, not mine. I get so tired of seeing that. If I was the seller and found one that actually sold for twice as much I'd post a link to the ad.
That and that one has not led anything even approaching a gentle life.
Neat machine though. I love the open nose.

I guess thats one way to get folks to clean up for you and be happy about it. Maybe I need to try this method to get rid of a bunch of random crap around here.

The scroll saw looks like a Craftsman from the 50s. Most likely a solid machine and better than about 95% of the stuff that passes for a scroll saw these days.
If you're close enough it would be worth grabbing.
