Shipping is free so it does put the asking price into some perspective. Getting that machine to Seattle would cost about $50 and I wouldn't pay more than $30 - $40 for the machine locally, so for myself it's still overpriced.

Nice machine, though. They likely found it at an estate sale for $5-10, oiled it, then threw it up on eBay for quick cash. Doesn't look like they did anything to it.

That seller usually does a better job with her videos, though the other machines of hers I have seen were more complex, and had a lot of accessories.

The belt is some sort of oddball thing that has cogs on both sides.

It has a Centennial badge but the serial number shows it as being allocated July 29, 1949 according to ISMACS. I was also thinking 99ks had reverse by then.

That's one of those machines where there was a period of time between the allocation date and the actual time the machine rolled off the assembly line. More common with the 301s, 401s, etc..

I saw a huge machine yesterday with two bobbins just like those. I can't remember the model # but it's a Singer two needle hemstitcher. They were saying it was a Wheeler/Wilson design of machine. Very cool.

That's one of Raynas' machines. She does a great job of making sure her machines run perfectly. She has a really good reputation and if I was just looking for a machine to USE without having to do anything to it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from her.

I've had a couple machines come to me with them. Sew Classic sells them.
