I used to work for a property manager and I can't begin to describe some of the conditions that people lived in.

I used to work in cable tv. I know what you're saying. In some lines of work a poor sense of smell is a blessing.

Too bad they neutered that cabinet and base, because I have a 15-88 that would pair nicely with it, though even if whole, $100 is a bit steep for me.

The heading says “Vintage singer sewing machine table $100 - $100 (Belton mo)”.

$100 - $100 = $0 (doesn’t it?)

I'm not sure what this is, but I don't think it's either really antique or a Singer.

I don't know if it is an antique, but those machines with the tops like that are generally pretty old. Price looks pretty decent as well.

"Machines with tops like that are generally pretty old" I can't for the life of me remember what machine I've seen with that type of top.

The one I have that's similar and IS a Singer - I'm guessing these people googled New Family and got the Singer New family machines and assumed - is an 1889 model.

It's a good price and I think a fair mistake for a non-collector.
