A short time later I went to another estate sale looking for the blonde Singer sewing cabinet that was listed and, what a surprise, it had a 15-91 Singer inside, both items for $65. This got me to thinking, I wonder how many machines do my quilting friends have. I have a total of 11, One Universal, my first sewing machine that is nearly 40 years old, a Brother CS6000i, 2 Singer 201's, a Janome Mini Sew, A 1903 Singer 127, 2 Singer Featherweights. a Singer 15-91, a Singer 301A and a Singer 66 Treadle that was given to me by my MIL. My repairman says I have a nice collection.
One can never have enough sewing machines
Well stated.

I have ten and love them all . Would like to have a Singer treadle but no room and DH not to eager to help find one. I have 8 SM in the kitchen alone. One in the living room and one in the basement that DH is working on.

I have 1 Singer Futura, 1 Bernina Nova 900, 1 Janome Horizon, 1 Bernina Serger and 1 Baby Lock Imagine Serger. Don't use the Bernina serger since I got my BL because it was hard to thread the loopers - the BL has the "whoosh" threader - wonderful. I don't use the old Singer but I have recently dug out my Bernina Nova 900 to take to quilt camp, retreats, and classes because it is so portable. I love my Janome HOrizon but it is really too big to tote around.

Hello
I'm new here, but I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem!! Laugh, Laugh. I have 5. When I'm quilting I always have two set up for action. My Son asks why do you need more than one? This from a man with 30 rifles and 20 fishing poles!

Yesterday Hubby went out "garage sellin'" (yes, for us it is a verb, lol) and came home with a beautiful 15-91 from 1952 in a cabinet ($22.50), a 385 in a cabinet ($10), and a free Hoosier cabinet! So now I'm up to 6 full size machines, I also have 4 vintage toy machines that I display with my other vintage memoribilia.
Do you ever load the hubby out?

I'm 1947, too! Got a bid on one right now but I don't have details, no idea what year!
