That has to be the most beautiful, gorgeous sewing machine I have ever seen. When I saw your first post I KNEW that OCD Steve would not wait to begin the restore process. Congrats on having a DD helper with the same condition.

Love it!! So pretty. Great job refinishing and thanks for sharing your products! Do you start with the citrus stripper and move on to the heavier duty stuff if that doesn't work?

Unfortunately no, I SHOULD HAVE, but I started with the quick stuff and actually got minor chem burns (hole in glove) before I switched to the citrus.

I'm not one of your folks that go head deep into refinishing stuff but I can appreciate a beautiful machine as this one. It seems back then craftsmen took pride in their work as this machine shows. Such detail with all that what looks like mother of pearl inlay. All I can say is WOW!!!!!. Also Steve great work putting the cabinet back into its near original finish. That takes dedication.

Steve, she is a beauty! I would give up my left leg for her! Since I need my right leg and two arms to quilt with, LOL! Great job on the machine!
