Hah!! I'm totally showing these replies to DH! Now I know why you still hear some "old timer" car people talking about them like they are in their current vehicles. 50s wasn't plausible to me... 80s... it sounds like I just escaped having them in my first car. ('83 Pontiac Firebird)

MacyBaby, I will also take your DH's word for it. We possibly have stuff in the garage with the same setup... I'm thinking not-so-DFIL's snowblower for one.
