Default new to me featherweight...

craigslist ad :"1952 portable singer sewing machine with case and handle. all attachements, asking $75"

MINE for $50 today:

haven't named her yet...she might be going to live at a friend's....

ok, she runs. needle goes up and down. but she does not pick up the bobbin thread and does not form a stitch...can anyone offer advice???

Check that the bobbin is going the right way and thread is properly through the slots in bobbin holder. Do you have the book? I think you can get it online. Congrats on a great deal!!
