Please meet 'Agnes' a beautiful White Rotary
While in Rochester, MN, I checked CL and found this beauty. Went out to see it and could not resist her. She was being sold by the original owner's grandson. Grandma Agnes was born in 1896 and bought this White in the 1920's. It works but DH has to put in a new cord for safety sake. I really like the pull out for bobbins and scissors on the side of the box. This machine is larger than most: 9.25 x 21 inches long. Has a harp of 5.5 high and 8"long. The decals are striking, they are so bright. I have not cleaned her at all, the pictures do not do her justice. The box it comes in is quite large too with some detail to the wood. Haven't sewed on her yet, but I am impressed. BTW, she cost $40.00.

Awesome find.
It is so much nicer to have a machines history. Please consider writing that up on a small card and laminating it (even clear packing tape would do) and putting it in the bottom of the accessories drawer so that future caretakers will know that as well.
I have one of these and it sews VERY well. Attachments for these are very common and reasonably priced.

WOW! She's absolutely beautiful. Her decals are in remarkable condition! I would not have been able to pass her up for $40 either! Again, the decals are wonderful!
Congratulations on your acquisition!
