Billy,

I thought that WHITE Singer 201 that you posted is a Singer 191J. The one you posted looks more like a white 215G.

I would like to read your link. Please post. Thank you

Here is a close up of the serial and the Id Plate.
This is also an aluminum casting so it is a light weight compared to the older versions but they are hard to come by.

Here is the eBay link to the machine..............

Cool! Thanks! So, there is Kim's white 201. All she needs to do is win the bidding war. :)

The one that she is referring to is the later models that were a creamy tan color and were the same body style as the 185J/K.

That's it. Yes, they are different. I still 'want' a 201 black for a treadle, and i have my eye out for 96-46 simply because a sewing seamstress I know, has one and it's pretty neat. She's in her 80's and still sewing commercial decorating samples and custom customer orders. There's absolutely no reason for me to want a 201k. It's just that you don't seem to see them much. There's one on Ebay right now.... lol.

Hi Quilerguy27. I've always meant to tell you that your dog in your avatar cracks me up  Last year I fostered a huge black lab, named George, that crossed his legs like that. They look so comical when they do that.

LOL! I think so too. He does it all the time. Everyone gets a chuckle out of it.
