Wow, it's beautiful!! It looks so small next to the Singer.

And the Singer 128 is a small machine. I think my girls had a toy machine that was about the size of this one. Kitsone, you're right. No Name does make me smile. Mamie? I'll feel better when she's clean and the wiring checks out. 1952 wiring is scary.

Go Jo (non pumice) for the cleaning of the finish. If you use a cleaner type of wax the decals will come off.

Thanks again, Billy. I have goop hand cleaner, but can't find GoJo cleaner. Anyone in Calfornia know what stores carry it?
I checked out wal mart and Lowes-no luck.

Billy... I think any of these could be a great repaint color combos for any classic sewing machine. I am a little partial to the brunt orange with gold fleck that you posted a while back... Geez, does it matter, I think you could make gray look good!

Auto parts stores have it, but I think Goop and GoJo are pretty much the same...

I like fuchsia for 185. I love the black cherry, but IMO it belongs on full size machine.

Miss No name Leader is in the house. My weight lifter grandson wrapped his arms around the cabinet and carried her in easily. She is very dirty as is the 128. I have my work curt out for me when the weather breaks. She is a cutie. I copied the book so I'm not trashing it as I learn what I need to know. The seller has Singer attachments in with the Leader, so I have a ruffler for both machines. Woohoo! Here we go:

I really like your ladies and the Leader is wonderful. Glenn

Gojo without pumice- O'Reilly's Auto

It will say "smooth" on the container. Son worked there for years. And they are national.
