I got mine on ebay a long time ago... no link, sorry. But you do have to go by the part numbers for slant machines.

That looks like aluminum rot, which is bad news. Now for someone who wants to repaint, it's not a bad deal.

I couldn't see a bobbin case - so that would be an extra expense if it's missing.

The picture showing where the bobbin case should be is so dark that its hard to see much of anything.

If you need a bobbin case, they have one listed now on eBay too, 2 days to go, currently at $18.50:

Nope it has a bobbin case -
answer from seller to question 'does it have the bobbin case?":
yes it does.
thanks,joe

Unfortunately, what's the purpose of repainting a white one - well unless it goes really cheap! (And then making a cool color!) I was looking for one in better condition. (38 mins to go - $76)

I'm also ordering up the special needles it takes as the needle in the machine is so old I can't read the numbers on it. The machine came with like 28 discs and is in good condition. I few chips of paint, but I'm so excited with my find!!! I love it. I just hope I can get it to quiet down a bit.

Congrats, Candace! Oil everywhere metal is turning against metal. That is more than the manual says, lol. It only takes one dry spot to cause trouble/noise.
