Yes, I did get the Free today. She is really cute - has the cutest little parlor cabinet, and came with her attachments. The cabinet is in pretty good shape too. I had posted the pictures from the previous owner on page 550. I will post after pictures when I get her all shined up. I really want to try the Blue Magic on her, but I am a little concerned after your post about not putting the Blue Magic on the decals. The Free has some very pretty color still in her decals and I don't want to take a chance and ruin that.

I was very excited about the Blue Magic discovery - now I am a little worried about using anything. I don't want to turn those decals silver!

Sorry about the machine. But we were wondering if you happened to have the serial number of the machine on the listing and then compared it with the machine you received. Also do you still have a picture of the orginial listing? If you do I would save it. Just a suggestion. Would you please post the seller so we can beware of him/her.

Anybody ever heard of a Singer 95-80 or 95-100? They look like a 201 sort of, but they were specifically made to sew only light to medium weight wovens? Parts list says 4200 rpm and max. 7 stitches to an inch.

I might have found someone, who's sister supposedly has her mom's 95. The mom's other machine is a 202-2 in a model 65 pain jane desk cabinet.

???

No I haven't been to a TOGA yet.
Sounds like a fun time, that one day I hope to partake of.

Blessings to you,

Wow The things you miss here when you spend a day sewing!
If anyone is interested, (Nancy) there is a tan 221J on shopgoodwill.com There is also one on ebay. The ebay seller is unaware the rarity of the machine. I only found it because I opened the listing and then figured it out. Both of these machines are still in the black 221 price range. I think there is a good opportunity here for someone.
